Fundraising Stint: Moviestars in 'Africa Mon Amour'

With a week between projects, we came across an offer to be extras in a film being shot in Nairobi. The movie, a German film called Africa Mon Amore, is a World War 2 love story based in East Africa. We were outfitted in some goofy looking British civilian costumes, John's hair was chopped into a German bowl-cut, and we were given roles in a train and prison scene. Hopefully the spare change we raise this week will carry us through our work on Suba over the next 3 months.

(The highlight of the experience was definitely the moustache suitcase)...

You guys continually amaze me. Good luck in your acting career!

John - I am dropping a package in the mail today with some toys and such for the kids. Hopefully it will not take too long to get there.

Take care,
Kristy

Keep up the good work boys! You're both going to make me very rich and famous some day, by association of course. Thanks for the message. Honestly was one of the top five moments of your relationship with my girlfriend!!!!! I'll be laughing about that one for years. You try explaining that she has to go park the car while I go inside and play the messages. And then explain why I had to erase them before she could listen...Ain't easy! Miss you both. -Jeff (Your Personal Entourage Extraordinaire)

On behalf of the struggling first-place detroit tigers, i sincerely ask for some help gathering worldwide prayer as our players have all suddenly forgotten how to hit. will you, kevin messacar, and you, john kurap, please spend 14 seconds each day praying for curtis granderson, magglio ordonez, and pudge rodriguez to hit a ball out of the infield. thank you. also, the mustache suitcase is PHENOMENAL!!! burn burn burn in a ring of fire.

keep it up,
mike (self-proclaimed "captain" of otownboys)
